Directors statement: 

The story itself captivates me because, within the serious subject of dead bodies and murders, it also has a dark humor tone to it. It’s a story about a guy whose only objective is to get the job done. He simply wants to get paid, without dropping bodies. But in his profession, he has to think quickly to keep any unsuspecting, wrong time, wrong place, rube from getting murdered.  

I believe most of us live our lives one task at a time. And we are faced with the everyday choice of doing things the morally right way or the fast way. My objective as the director is to show different points of view of how people solve problems based on their own beliefs. The Pizza Guy never had a chance to be what he wanted. But with enough positivity and hard work he can escape his childhood and be his own person. He has spent his life in search of a way to the big city and this delivery job is the first step. He will not take no for an answer. He believes that the Cleaner is lying and his sense of justice and the need to pay the rent will not let him walk away. To keep his job and his future he must deliver at least one pizza. 

The Killer knows a life of service to a crime organization, with a preordained profession. From the script, we get a sense of his laissez-fair attitude about murder, suggesting a normalization in his profession. He sees himself as a plumber of the underworld but the only thing clogging him up is The Cleaners new way of doing things.
